Date 21st December

12:30 PM - 02:30 PM

This sensorial, movement-led workshop explores Goa’s beloved bebinca as an edible archive where food, memory, taste, and environment meet.

Led by food documentarian and immersive-theatre practitioner Shubhra Chatterji through her Body & Food Method, the session begins with grounding before shifting into a conversation with Chef Ryan Semelhago on the changing ecologies behind bebinca—coconut, sweetness, heat, and labour.

Participants then engage in embodied tasting and guided writing, distilling their sensory memories into short, devised pieces that pose questions the room collectively responds to. A layered encounter with food, body, ecology, and imagination.

Facilitators: Shubhra Chatterji and Ryan Semelhago
