Early Edibles: Tasting the World

curator

  • Edible Issues

Our earliest mouthfuls shape how we experience the world, connecting taste with memory and emotion. In this workshop, we’ll explore the concept of "first mouth memories"—those vivid early experiences, whether it was the satisfying chew of a pencil end, the bittersweet lick of an ice cream stick, or the last mouthful of roti with sugar.

This experience will dive into these memories, using found objects to recreate scenes that capture those formative tastes and textures into personal art pieces that tell the story of your earliest edible encounters.

This workshop is a part of the larger curation titled Cultures of our Food Futures’ by Edible Issues.
