The Dosa, beloved for its delicate and crispy texture, is notoriously difficult to transport due to its geometry. The climate-controlled dosa picnic basket puts this logistically improbable delicacy on the menu for an outdoor picnic.
Participants are invited to this carefully designed food ritual with four custom-built machines to accompany the experience. Together, we will pilgrimage with specially dimensioned dosas from the installation site to a selected picnic spot. Once there, the machines will transform into mini tables, creating a space to collectively relish and celebrate this culinary treasure.
Participants will be encouraged to make a 10-minute walk as part of the performance to witness the transport of the picnic baskets. By joining the picnic, you become part of the celebratory performance it will be—so bring your appetite and prepare for a memorable gathering.
