Upcycling Glass Waste by Etching

Upcycling Glass Waste by Etching

curator

  • Kristine Michael
Transform glass waste into unique designs through the art of acid incising. In this process, participants will create stencils by cutting vinyl and applying them to the glass surface using a craft knife. The resist technique is then employed to etch intricate patterns into the glass using acid cream.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own glass items, such as bottles, jars, glasses, frames, or sheet glass, to be upcycled into personalised works of art.
