At Bookworm, the Bioscope has been revivedto recreate the magic of storytelling as it happened a century ago. The Bioscope houses key story rolls, and its design includes five circular windows. These windows allow up to five individuals at a time to sit and each one offers a personalised and intimate story looking experience, creating a sense of connection between the storyteller, the audience and story.
The intention behind using the Bioscope is to offer children a unique exposure to historical storytelling devices, transporting them back to a time when stories were shared through such enchanting and communal means.
