Ayush Kasliwal is a furniture and product designer based in Jaipur, India, and the co-founder of AKFD Studio and Anantaya. A graduate of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Kasliwal champions India’s craft heritage by translating traditional techniques into contemporary design languages. Through his multidisciplinary practice, he collaborates with artisan communities across the country to create furniture, lighting and accessories that are culturally resonant and globally relevant. His works have been showcased at major international design fairs, including Ambiente and Salone del Mobile. Committed to sustainability and storytelling, Kasliwal’s work often draws on architectural motifs, local materials and thoughtful detailing. His studio’s designs have earned several EDIDA awards and have been featured in publications such as Wallpaper, Elle Décor India and Designboom.
