Get ready to bend, twist, and weave your way into the heart of Kashmiri craft! In this hands-on workshop, master artisan Mehraj ud Din introduces participants to the beautiful world of Kashmiri willow weaving, locally known as Veer Kani or Keani Keam.

Using locally harvested willow reeds, participants will learn the basic weaving techniques that have been passed down for generations. With a little patience and rhythm, you’ll craft your own small wall plate or pen stand using pre-cut bases — a perfect introduction to the timeless charm of wicker work.

This workshop celebrates the warmth of handmade tradition while showing how humble willow twigs can be turned into everyday art. Perfect for curious hands and creative minds!

Please note that all the materials will be provided by the artisan.
