The hypnotic music of the Manganiyar musicians from Rajasthan comes alive in this presentation. It brings together the ancient traditions of Manganiyar folk music with the timeless flow of rivers, weaving a powerful narrative of nature, spirituality, and preservation. Led by Deu Khan ji, a master vocalist from the Swarrop Folk Music Institute, it explores the evocative rhythms and melodies of Rajasthan's Manganiyar community through a rich blend of soulful vocals and traditional instruments such as the morchang, bhapang, dholak, khartal, and harmonium.

Please arrive at the venue at least 20 minutes before the start time, otherwise entry cannot be guaranteed.

This performance will be held on a unique sunset cruise departing from Santa Monica Jetty. Audience members will get the opportunity to revel in the rays of the setting sun while the cool breeze blowing across the Mandovi river carries notes of the artists and their jugalbandi.Artists: Deu Khan, Kheta Khan, Layakat Khan and Mahendra Khan

Here’s a quick guide:

1. Please avoid entering through the Santa Monica Jetty Gate. Kindly use the multilevel parking entrance instead.

2. Be on time! The jetty leaves at 5 PM sharp. Plan to arrive 45 minutes earlier to ensure a smooth boarding process.

3. For convenience, use the multilevel paid parking facility.

4. Safety first! Please use the underpass when crossing the road.

5. Bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated.

6. If you have special access requirements, please inform the volunteer stationed at the jetty entrance.
