10:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Pocket film lab is a creative workshop that provides an insight into the vast, immersive world of filmmaking. Armed with only a phone camera, our facilitators take participants through the fascinating journey that is filmmaking. Beginning with the fundamental aspect of moving pictures, the story we help you create is a little world of your own.

In the following hour of the workshop, the facilitators take you through capturing images with a hands-on experience of bringing your story into the world for others to see. The last hour of the workshop imparts basic editing and voiceover narration skills that come together to create your first “Photo-Story”, rounding off the experience with a small group presentation of the work everybody creates.

Disclaimer: Participants must have a smartphone to participate in this workshop.

Facilitators: Milind Chhabra, Preeti Kanungo, Tanyaa Sharma from Lighthouse Studios

Lighthouse is a not-for-profit organisation that runs filmmaking programs in after-school centres in Bombay, Pune and Goa, teaching teenagers the magic of telling their stories, free of cost.

Age Group: 13-17 years
