What happens when timeless classics meet today’s world? In this live performance, singer-songwriter Vidhya Gopal and poet Alok Ranjan Srivastava take you on a journey through thumri, dadra, ghazal, and classic film songs — holding them up like vinyl records, letting them spin, and then gently asking: What do these words mean to us now?
Each song becomes a conversation — moving from the original composition to reflections in poetry, and finally, to subtle new lines that bring today’s voice into yesterday’s melody. Gulabi Vinyl is where nostalgia meets curiosity, and where old lyrics find new colors.
In collaboration with IPRS.
