12:00 PM - 01:00 PM

Step into the vibrant world of Chitrakathi, the traditional storytelling art of Maharashtra that weaves tales through painted panels and music. In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the visual language of Chitrakathi painting — learning to create their own story-inspired artwork using natural colours and folk motifs.

Towards the end of the session, participants will get the chance to bring their stories to life by collaborating with a string puppet, merging two age-old storytelling forms in a playful, creative finale.

A workshop for all ages — where brushstrokes, stories, and movement come together in celebration of living tradition.

Facilitator: Balakrishna Ganpat Masge
