Bboy Benman’s workshop offers participants an embodied understanding of hip hop culture and movement. They are encouraged to experiment with movement concepts, responding differently to varied rhythms and sections of a song, and to deepen their sense of musicality. This process allows them to express music not only through sound but also through the body. The workshop also introduces participants to the basics of breaking technique. Participants experience breaking as a practice that enhances balance, stability, coordination, and body awareness.
