This choreographic work of contemporary dance interrogates the role of the body in consumer societies and its place in today’s world, shaped by cultural contexts. It explores how systems of power have historically used religiosity, beliefs, deities, rituals, and myths as tools of dominance — embedding them into everyday life as subtle strategies of social control. The piece reflects on how these forces fragment the body, impose rules and standards, and ultimately shape both individual expression and collective identity.
